    There are plenty of different areas to walk around and explore both at the lock and next to the schuylkill river. This may be the only functional lock on the schuylkill left. Interesting old tie offs are still present where old barges used to tie up. Worth a visit for a nice days outing.

    Spent around an hour on Saturday Evening. Its a good spot for walking along river trials. Ensure to apply musquito repellant. Nice views. If some shrubs and branches of the trees are cleared, you could also get a nice view of the Black Rock Dam water fall. Also a good spot to start kayaking as I saw lots of people bring their kayaks to this area to spend some time in water.

    All time favorite hangout with my friends & dog! I've been tubbing down some spots.. fishing in all the places I can find! But my favorite is jumping into the water! So much fun without a doubt! Check it out!!!

    It fits really snugly into the river bank next to Phoenixville. It's next to the produce junction, and it's seriously a picturesque slice of American interior from the 1950s. Absolutely lovely!

    Kinda like a video game where a small town must have all aspects and it all fits together like a little puzzle. That is exactly what this little area is like.

    This is a nice recreational area for hiking, fishing, etc. This is a beautiful park and very relaxing to walk around. And there is easy access from 422. However there is only a 1 lane road going into the parking area.
