Wonderful shop..quick, professional, and most importantly...Honest!! Would never go anywhere else.
So happy I found J&S Auto. They have great service and the owner and staff are so honest, hard working, AND best of all if needed will stop on the side of the road to help you out. That actually happened to me once. I was at an auto parts store, and trying to figure out how to change the lightbulb in my car and this gentleman pulled up and asked if I needed help. He proceeded to help me and then said I can't do it here, follow me to my shop and I'll help you out. Low and behold it was a staff member at John's shop and he and John did in fact change the light bulb for me AND best of all I asked "how much" and they said, this time nothing as I offered to help you as a person in need. How wonderful is that, and when do you ever find that nowadays?
John is a very honest and knowledgeable mechanic I will continue to go here as he has always been courteous and helpful with any questions I may have. He didn’t overcharge me and did his best to keep my PT Cruiser going for 200k (R.I.P). I now have a new car and will be bringing it to him for service and inspections. If your looking for a place that’s honest and does excellent work J&S is it.
I have been going here for years now. I got tired of being ripped off by the chain mechanics shops and still having issues. I went to Monroe to get an inspection done a few years back and they told me that i would need almost $3,000 worth of work done to get it to pass. A friend of mine advised me to find a local private shop bear me. I went to J&S auto, was so happy with their service that I've never even considered going back to any chain mechanic again. They are hard working, honest, and take the time to explain an issue if you need clarification.
