Ellen Phillips Samuel Memorial , North Terrace is one of three terraces located between Schuylkill River and Kelly Drive. All three terraces are dotted with numerous statues representing various occupations. At the North Terrace, there are statues representing scientist, architect, laborer, and a preacher. All three terraces are well maintained by volunteers and the Fairmount Park Commission.
