Our twin granddaughters and their older sister had what they thought was going to be a quiet birthday. SURPRISE! Along came the FANTASTIC and AMAZING crew of the Cecil Volunteer Fire Company. Though the twins were shy in person, they certainly couldn't stop talking about how excited and what a happy experience these Gentleman made to take time from their own busy lives, to give a Perfect Memory for what would have otherwise been a somber un-memorable day! Thank you can not fully express our Gratitude to a group of men and the Community at large for such a genuine and caring show of kindness. Kudos again and again and again...

I bring my family down every year for the parade and carnival they put on. I grew up here and my grandparents still live in town. Nothing like showing the kids some fun childhood memories. My grandparents still go to the legion next door constantly.

to the people who vented frustration about Paul Smith,
1- Millers Run (Cecil #3 VFD) is NOT where he was chief
2- the chief of the MUSE station (cecil #2 vfd) made a regrettably inappropriate comment on his personal Facebook page which had NOTHING TO DO WITH THE FIRE DEPT itself.
3- be angry and outraged at the guy if you must, but please don't make ASSUMPTIONS ABOUT THE REST OF THE VOLUNTEER FIRE FIGHTERS.. those guys risk their lives as VOLUNTEERS to serve their community.. can you say that?

Remember: change is a 2 way street!
