The Robertshaw Country House Bed And Breakfast

Beautiful place to visit. Loved the grounds.

This is a lovely, relaxing place to stay. We are not far from home, but totally enjoying our getaway.

Pros: the nuns were very friendly and the decor is very welcoming. The breakfast table was set very prettily and the selection for breakfast was highly satisfactory. The grounds are pretty and impressively large. They're also speedy about answering email inquiries.
Cons: because there is no permanent staff, the check in/check out process was somewhat haphazard. At check out, there was no one waiting and when we called, we couldn't understand the woman on the main line and the other telephone number had no answer. We just left our keys on the bed in the room, but a confirmation would have been nice.

Beautiful place for a retreat from a fast paced world. The home feels like your own (though likely more luxurious) and the sisters make sure you have everything you may need. Can't overstate the relaxing nature of this home and it's surrounding landscape.
