Polymath Park - Frank Lloyd Wright Overnight

We did the lunch tour - lunch and three houses. Our tour of the houses was wonderful and we found staff to be very friendly. We were a little disappointed with the lunch. The appetizer and desert were chef pick with a choice of one of three salads, served with a cup of soup, for an entree. The appetizer was polenta with cream sauce, a bit bland and very lumpy. The soup and salad were not bad but not really good either. The desert was a slice of Pepperidge Farm chocolate cake. It may have been an off day at the restaurant so we hope to try again sometime in the future, however, we will be ordering lunch or dinner from the menu and booking the tour separately. Better to pay a little more and hope to get really good food.

We made a mistake and read the check in time of 5PM as checking in 5PM or later as that is when the tours would be over. They expect you at 5PM and if you are going to be arriving later reach out to them and let them know. The office isn't staffed 24/7.

As far as the lodging aspect of the facility not everything listed was provided on our stay such as the complimentary wine, coffee was almost all decaf and no cups for the water cooler. None of this is a deal breaker and maybe a little whiny but for the price charged I think they could be a little more organized.

Otherwise a beautiful stay and good recommendations from the staff for local restaurants and shopping if you forgot anything.

We arrived on Tuesday and left on Thursday, that way we avoided the tours.

Went for a tour of the two Frank Lloyd Wright houses, and both were incredible and well-maintained. My tour guide, Ricki, did a great job explaining the history and was knowledgeable with the questions that came up. Definitely recommend if you're going to Fallingwater and/or Kentuck Knob.

We did the tour and dinner experience and it was fantastic. Our guide knew everything inside and out, also was one of the OG guys who moved the Duncan house. This was a great afternoon escape and I would highly recommend it!
