Frank has helped me recover from a frozen shoulder and planter fasciitis . I was very impressed with his hands on approach and level of detail. He carefully explains the stretching and strengthening exercises so I can also do them at home. He really cares about your recovery and maintains flexibility with scheduling appointments. This is the third time over the past 10+ years that I have used Oak View PT for my different physical therapy needs (such as neck and hip pain and vertigo). I have always found Frank Mechling to be a good listener and most competent in assessing what it is that I need to do to help me to improve and to ultimately feel better. In this day of so many possible choices for your physical therapy programs, I choose Oak View because of the calm, welcoming, smaller environment, which also helps in the healing process. You always get Frank's full attention and he is constantly assessing how you are progressing and what you need to do to get to where you want to go. I highly recommend Frank Mechling (and his office manager, Barb) for your physical therapy needs.

On Nov. 17 I had a total knee replacement. Three weeks later they removed the staples and I started out patient physical therapy at Oakview Physical Therapy with Frank. We sat down and discussed my current health and my goals and expectations for the six weeks therapy. I admit to being a total wimp when it comes to pain. I do not fight through the pain to complete the goal. Frank and Ester calmly, gently, firmly worked me through the exercises and the scar massages. At the end of the six weeks I had reached all the goals and even my expectations and I was WALKING WITHOUT PAIN!!!!!! I still am clinging to my cane when I leave the house but that is because balance and coordination was never in my wheelhouse hence the knee surgery. I will have to have the other knee done in 2019 and I will definitely be going back to see Frank. Thank you so much for the help you gave me.
