Ordered the APPS on the website for my 99 24v Dodge Cummins. The part came very well packed and with specific instructions on how to install and calibrate. It came shipped through the Post Office Priority Mail, just as the website mentions. My truck is back to running! And it runs better than before. Wow. Thank you very much! Yes buy with confidence.
April 2018 marks 10 years I have been selling the same sensor with great results. The Sensor I use is an OEM sensor for a BIG truck using a Cummins engine, Not some resourced remade sensor to fit the bracket or some Chinese knock off that looks like mine you will see on ebay for $35.00.
Some of you have found that your Manual Trans 03 or 04 trucks do not have the APPS assembly bolted to the side od the engine. Yours will be under the battery tray.
here is a try to reset a apps or tps sensor on a dodge cummins. it gives you a P2121 or P2123 code or dead petal. well ended up being a bad part :
Timbo APPS has no calibration to it... I've got a write up from Timbo directly showing the internal differences and why there is NO CAL for the timbo APPS. Basically the stock Dodge APPS requires a voltage to trigger idle validation switches were the Timbo has mechanical switches embedded in the design...
