(March 23, 2019, 5:22 pm)What a great place to grab some coffee. We had espresso, affigato, hot chocolate and ice cream. Hot chocolate came with whip cream and fresher shaved chocolate. Affigato was my favorite but sad I shared it- a perfect one person portion. Fresh local made ice cream. Environmentally conscious cups, spoons and napkins. Plus board games to play upstairs!

Was going to go to Starbucks but decided to drive into Shrewsbury to look at the old main Street shops and homes. To our delight, on a Sunday late afternoon, The Village Coffee was open! Adorable vibe, beautiful old construction converted into a great coffee shop and gift store from local artists and craftspeople. Very attractive and charming on 2 floors. Excellent service and coffee. Now I can't wait for warmer weather to try their house made decadent ice cream! Just a minute or two off of Harrisburg expressway. Worth the stop!

(February 17, 2019, 9:26 pm)Great small place to get ice cream. Very cozy and quiet atmosphere. Lots of interesting items to buy. They have free WiFi and everything seemed reasonably priced. One neat thing that I noticed is they try and use paper/wood products instead of plastic.
