  Love Love Love this place and the owners! They do what they’re supposed to do when it comes to farming. You know all the pictures of happy cows and pigs on packages for companies like Smithfield that’s not actually true...well it’s true and Puddle Moon Farm! Meat tastes wonderful and I’m happy to know that it was raised correctly and the animals had a happy life.

  Puddle Moon Farms and DeAnne and Jeff Harris are where USA pork production needs to be. Grass fed, farm raise. This is how to raise food that delivers. Meat has more trace minerals when grazed on pastures. 90 % bio available. Thank you for dedicating your efforts to best quality. Puddle Moon Farm raises pastured pork in an all natural environment. Our pigs enjoy fresh air, sunshine and clean water. They're fed NON GMO all natural feed and are rotated regularly to fresh wooded paddocks.

Yesterday we enjoyed a wonderful "Pig Out" at the farm. I loaded up the grill with succulent pork shoulders and butts and smoked them with hickory wood for hours. Then we served about 50 people from Harmony Church (where we attend) and The Body out of Rock Hill.

Happy Fouth of July! | Puddle Moon Farm

A beautiful day on the farm to celebrate July 4th! All the rain has our pastures looking good and has nearly replenished the water in our big pond. It's our only pond that doesn't have a spring to keep it full so we're dependent on rain runoff. The catfish have grown to be 2 1/2 to 3 pounds; big as my forearm!

New Baby Goats | Puddle Moon Farm

We have two Kikos goats, both females and they are pregnant. Yesterday the white girl delivered two beautiful kids. The male is brown and white speckled like his father and the female is a latte coffee color. Today the grandkids from Irmo came up to see the new arrivals.
