(August 17, 2018, 11:59 pm)I had a flat tire after hours (930pm) tonight (Friday) and was fortunate enough to make it into Evan's lighted parking lot as the TPMS monitor in my Silverado dropped down below 10psi. No one was around, I jacked my truck with the terrible excuse of a jack that GM provides, got the flat off and couldn't get the spare on due to the jack not being able to jack high enough without risking slipping off the axle tube. I called AAA and the soonest someone could there would be nearly 2.5 hrs later. We sat around for a bit and saw a truck pull into the drive of the house next door around 1045pm. I flagged the guy down and asked if the shop was his and if we could borrow a floor jack. He was extremely nice and opened the shop, got a floor jack out for us, jacked my truck and let me finish changing out the spare. He wouldn't accept a single dollar after multiple attempts of trying to pay him and told me to put the money I was offering him into the offering plate at church. You don't find this type of person anymore. I would fully trust Evan's with any work in the future and am very grateful for him opening up the shop and helping us out.
