  Great meal and atmosphere! Menu is fresh, indulgent and diverse. Service was excellent with friendly and attentive servers with fast kitchen without sacrificing quality. The filet bites were prepared perfectly to temperature and the fried green beans crispy and a delightful, unexpectedly befitting addition to the pork tacos. Highly recommend!

  I have been before but a while back so I decided to go again tonight despite the rain storm. Tonight I revisted the Garden Cafe and the food was as delicious as I remember it being. When you first walk in there’s a small gift shop with homemade soaps, candles, clothes, and other neat things to look at.
  
  I ordered the porch (flank) steak (medium rare), small salad with balsamic vinaigrette dressing. The porch steak came with mashed red potatoes. The plate was drizzled with a balsamic glaze which went well with the flank steak! The portion size was perfect!
  
  The salad had shredded cheese and bacon on it. I’m not a big salad fan but it was delicious as well.
  
  For dessert I ordered the buttermilk pie which is their signature dessert. It was delicious but very sweet and probably best shared with someone! York doesn’t have many good places to eat but this place is top notch!!
