Maritza was great! She was exactly what we needed. Calm and reassuring without interfering. I **almost** wish my labor hadn’t been so crazy fast so we could have utilized her skills even more! Would definitely have her again. :)

Maritza was my birth-only doula, and she was wonderful! Super supportive and comforting, IF I were going to have another baby I would use her again, definitely recommend her to anyone considering a doula!

There aren't enough stars for Staci! As first time parents we had so many questions and concerns as our pregnancy progressed. She met every inquiry with patience and research to back up every option she presented. She made sure we understood all the possibilities of our labor instead of just what is usually done.

The birth itself was longer and more difficult than we had expected and it took 48 hours to bring our baby into the world. I wanted a natural birth and Staci respected that, never once encouraging me to change my birth plan, even after so many hours in labor. As long as everyone was healthy, she was standing behind me on my decision, even though my family thought I was nuts! My husband had to take mini-naps to keep going but Staci never did. I don't know how she did it but she kept us both going - kept my family up-to-date in the waiting room, lifted me up when I felt discouraged, helped my husband to know the best way to help me through contractions - she's a wonder woman! She even took some amazing pictures of us meeting our little one for the first time (see attached). And once it was all over she was still checking in and answering all my postpartum questions.

I never realized until we had our baby how alone you are while in labor. The nurses come in to check vitals, but until you are in the pushing stage, you're on your own. I can't imagine how scared we would have been if it had been just the two of us. I imagine it would have been easy for the nurses to talk us into a quicker, less natural birth had Staci not been there to reassure us that everything I was experiencing was normal. I cannot sing her praises enough!

Staci was exactly what my husband and I needed for my natural birth! She was such a calming presence and helped me feel better when we had a change of plans and ended up with a hospital birth instead of the birth center I had planned on. She came right at the beginning of my induction per my request since I was nervous about the change of plans and walked the halls with me to help get labor going. When active labor started, her use of counter pressure and massage helped me tremendously! All her suggestions gave me ideas for positions and coping with labor, and she used essential oils to keep me calm and help with nausea. My natural birth was so much easier with her help, and I love thinking back about my wonderful birth experience! I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a doula!

Staci was my doula for our natural childbirth at home and I can not say enough wonderful things about her! She was absolutely fabulous and I would use her again without a doubt! She was very informative and comforting every step of the way and knew how to help me get from one point to the next. My midwife was also very impressed by her and said she was great as well and very easy to work with. Staci has a great attitude and energy about her that calms you and everyone else around. She works wonderfully well with others and made a great team partner for myself, husband and midwife.
