My kids (4, 6, 8, & 9) even were excited to look around at the old homesteads and running around in the open spaces. We got to experience butter churning after exploring around. I would absolutely recommend.

(August 13, 2022, 12:25 pm)Very neat place back in time.There’s old pioneer houses on the property dating back starting at 1803 through 1900.There’s 17 structures on the settlement .It’s $8.00 admission fee ,$ 1.00 military discount to tour the settlement.You can set up a guided tour but you have to make a reservation.This is a great place to visit and see up close just how the pioneers lived.It’s well worth the trip to visit.
