They are always so kind here! Their lard renders down beautifully to make some of the most amazing soaps I've ever made. We've also had them butcher several hogs and cows and we have never been disappointed. Plus, I love that they have other meat options available for purchase so that I can do a quick restock on bacon or bologna without having to butcher a whole hog :) I highly recommend them!
They do a wonderful job! The people they are absolutely great and very friendly! We have brought our meat here for years and have never had an type of problem. They get it done quickly and meat is always done perfectly!
I’m a cattle farmer and have been for years and have had (5) steers processed here. I’ve weighed each of the steers before drop off on my digital scales as well as the meat after pickup. Each time I was pleasantly surprised on how the cattle cut out. We take high quality animals that are bred with appropriate carcass values. I understand the difference between live weight, hanging weight, and “take home” weight. It seems the negative reviews here are solely due to people who either don’t know what their animal weighs live, what to except from a hanging weight, or what to expect from take home weight. The staff is super friendly.
I have had about 80 steers and cows and 150 hogs this year since May with them and they have always been a pleasure to work with and took great care of me. Any time I had an issue they were quick to resolve anything. Meat has been incredible and I have several return customers. All the meat is vacuum sealed and kept separate. Never worry about getting someone else's meat or anything. I have an animal science background and degree and the conditions have always been good as far as the way they treat my animals and take care of the meat as well!
