Greenbrier Beechhouse Luxury Treehouse

Both of my grandparents turned 89 this year & I found myself searching for weekend getaways. Something rustic and charming and different. Rook tournaments and swapping old family stories while making family recipes in the kitchen. I stumbled across the "tree house" and got on the phone right away. I couldn't believe it when we pulled up. We were literally staying in a treehouse cabin in the woods. While the pics drew me in initially, they don't do her justice. You'll have to experience it for yourself to truly appreciate and understand. And the best part, my Grandmother absolutely loved it. That smile was worth every penny. Don't forget the fresh eggs for your morning scramble or omelet. They are absolutely adorable.

On the business side, the owners were just amazing beginning to end. Very patient in answering your questions and squeezing us in due to a last minute cancelation. Everything is very well stocked and purposefully placed. You can honestly feel the love and memories in every room. I honestly can't fault a thing. We will absolutely be back. Looking for a getaway with the family or just need some alone time to reflect in the trees and dust off that novel or script you've always wanted to write, you're home.

Our family (Me, Wife, 13yo, 10yo, and 18 month old) was looking for a long weekend vacation this year that was close to home. Greenbrier Beech House checked all of the boxes we were looking for. Location is perfect. All furniture and furnishings feel sturdy and new, not second hand or thrift shop purchased. Lighting on deck was nice for sitting and making smores. Saw a lot of birds, squirrels, turkeys, and deer at the feeders. Family loved collecting eggs from the chickens. Two recommendations: -- If you have toddler aged children bring at least 1 baby gate. That helped us enjoy the deck without fear our daughter would go on the bridge between pods. -- If you cannot sleep with any light, bring an eye mask as the light from the AC unit is bright. Highly recommend overall!

Beautiful place in secluded area! Crystale and Chip made sure everything was perfect for our stay. All amenities were spot on, including the dozen fresh eggs left waiting for us in the refrigerator. Our favorite was the tree in the main pod all lit up! We will definitely book again in the future!

My husband and I stayed in the pod, and our friends stayed in the main treehouse. It was a cold weekend, which made the fireplace and inside bird watching so special. There are so many types of birds! Who knew? They even have a bird book for bird watching - it was fun figuring out what we were looking at. On our last morning, two deer came within 20 feet of the treehouse. Such an enchanting and romantic stay. Can’t wait to come back!
