We absolutely loved this child care. I would be here all day if I had to list everything but some key points, they were willing to accept my child and her cloth diapers when others would not. They also have a garden that the children get to help with and eat from. The employees simply do not get paid enough for how awesome they are. Patient, fun and also good communication skills with parents. I would 100/10 recommend this place.
Our daughter loves the school! Mrs. Betsy, the owner, is wonderful with children, she loves them all like they are her own kids. She goes above & beyond to make the kids feel special, loved, welcome, and safe. I know my daughter is well cared for, and eats a home cooked lunch every day.
Stepping Stone Academy has been so good to my daughter and I. The staff are nice and professional. Mrs. Betsy is the head of the academy and she is an amazing, hard working, caring, passionate and stern (in a good way) woman:) I love the fact that Mrs. Betsy has a vegetable garden that the children get to help with and also get to eat from each year. This is FANTASTIC!!!🤗 I like the fact that the facility has a code on the front door to get in and out of it gives me more sense of security for my child and the children there. Stepping Stone also does great with wanting to hear and know of your concerns and questions. I’m very pleased with Stepping Stone and Recommend this childcare facility especially if you are getting government assistance for childcare.
My daughter has been attending for about a year and I cannot say enough that all the teachers and directors are so nice and attentive. They have live camera feed so you can pull up the app at anytime to see them! My daughter loves going to school to hang out with her friends and teachers, thank you for taking such good care of my girl!!
My 5 year old daughter has attended Stepping Stones Academy since the age of 1. I am truly satisfied with my experience and feel safe and glad to leave my daughter here everyday while I work. I researched child care providers in the area when I was pregnant and this is the place my heart was set on. I have not been disappointed or regretted this decision. Stepping Stones provides my top concerns of safety, nutrition, and curriculum.
My daughter continues to be her usual happy self when she walks in the door and leaves. Stepping Stones is an intimate environment where everyone knows your child and treats them as an individual.
As a parent, safety is my #1 concern. There is a code to enter the school. the playground is gated. There are security cameras in every classroom where parents can watch their children at any time.
My 2nd concern is nutrition. This place is offering above average meals for childcare providers of this age group. There are fresh fruit and vegetables offered daily. Children are more than welcome to have seconds. Uniquely, the staff does not serve instant meals, frozen dinners, and junk food. My daughter calls the cook, chef. She knows my daughter's favorite snacks and meals. On occasion, she has sent these favorites home. This is definitely home cooked meals the children are eating. Also, the staff is kind when you mention a dietary restriction.
Stepping Stones is very clean and provides age appropriate curriculum. I am sad to leave this place once my daughter moves up to Kindergarten.
Trusting staff, educational, easy website to view information, cameras in the classroom, and everything else you would need for your child. Ms. Brandy, Ms. Emily, and Ms. Crystal made this experience that much better for me as a step mom by keeping me up to date and informed on every level.
