Shempy's

Great food in a cozy little restaurant. Waitresses were super sweet as well. Will definitely come back!

We ate at Shempy's on March 2, 2021. The food was excellent as always. The service was fantastic. I didn't get our waitress name but she was the hardest working waitress I have ever seen. She was the only one there besides the cook and the place was packed. Every table was taken and every seat was filled. She never missed a beat, every order was correct and served with a great attitude. In between waiting on tables she also answered the phone taking call in orders, bussed all the tables, and did some bookkeeping as well. I was worn out just watching her. She had to have been exhausted at the end of her shift. Even more reason to eat at Shempy's.

This is a great little place to come and get really darn good food. Friendly attentive staff and a choice to sit inside or on the enclosed patio. The burgers are fantastic, cooked to order and served with a generous portion of a side. I recommend the gator tots. Fresh seafood and ou can also bring your own fish, they will cook it for you. Definitely a good choice and a local favorite. I don't usually give 5 stars, I haven't had a meal don't like or anything but a good experience there.

Hands down the best place to eat. This is the first restaurant we visit when we come into town (we actually look forward to eating here from the second we leave home). It’s BYOB, reasonable prices and everything tastes great. The food does take a little while after ordering - but worth it. The crab dollar crab cakes are our favorite!
