  Really good barbecue but they take a long time to get an order out. If you got the time to relax then definitely check it out. I was on a lunch break from work and was really late getting back. I would definitely go back though! The food was good!

  Definitely worth stopping in. Very reasonable prices. Very good brisket. Top notch pulled pork. Mac 'n Cheese I wasn't too crazy about, it's not bad, but it's not the best like other reviews state. 1lb brisket $16 which I think is a good deal, at least for the brisket they serve.

  We loved Ed's! Will definitely stop back next visit to San Antonio! Brisket, mac and cheese, coleslaw, baked beans, banana pudding, peach cobbler...all delicious! And last but not least, Ed's a cool guy too!

  Came through the area on a road trip, just googled the highest rated BBQ and Ed's popped up. I didn't think it looked like much when I arrived but the food is incredible. Service was top notch. Next time I'm in the area, I'm definitely stopping by again. I can't wait to try the Mac and cheese. I figure you don't run out if it's not any good. Way better than the BBQ I had in Houston.

  Y’all, Ed does not mess around when it comes to quality and portion! I got a meat eating man with a huge appetite that I need to please and Ed’s BBQ hits the spot real good. You get delicious food and a whole lot of it for a great price. My absolute favorite is the Loaded Baked Potato with brisket. That thing is massive and is so heavy and it is so good! That things is loaded with cheese and meat, it’s crazy and the potato itself is big. The Mac and cheese is creamy and really cheesy. The brisket, sausage, pulled pork....omg so juicy and cooked to perfection! The family meals are a great deal. It’s nice to see the owner of the restaurant front and center on the register greeting you. My husband and I have had Great experiences here and we always come back ????????❤️
