  I LOVE St Francis of Assisi!! They take such good care of my fur babies. As you walk in there are separate waiting areas for cats and dogs. The Lobby is so nice and inviting. The reception desk is always busy with activity and the ladies are so very friendly. Dr. Ruiz has been my vet for years and years. I completely trust that he will give me any and all the information that I need to keep my babies happy and healthy! Thank you Dr Ruiz and staff for doing what you do!

  This vet office saved my dogs life! I called around to get my dog seen and this was the only place who could get me in the same day (I called at 4 pm). The vet that seen my dog was amazing. She was so caring and helpful. My dog was having heart failure. I will now be using the place from now on.

  When our 5 month kitten suddenly fell ill they were the only clinic who took us in as a walk in. Walked in and waited for a room, while we were waiting kitty had an accident and one of the front desk ladies got up to clean up without hesitation and was very kind and understanding. Once we signed in as we waited a technician came by to ask about symptoms and health history and took Zeus back to check him and get a fecal sample, once they put us in the room the Dr was aware of the situation and the tests showed our kitty was suffering from worms and a fever. The whole staff was kind and compassionate towards our sick kitty. They knew exactly what to do and administered the necessary medications, they even brought out cat food to try and feed my kitten since he hadn’t been eating. The price was reasonable for all the lab work and medicines administered, I am grateful for this clinic, while others turned us away and will only take you if you have an appointment, St Francis welcomed us, seems like most vets are in it only for the money and couldn’t care less if your pet is ill unexpectedly. St Francis has earned a new family as their clients.

  We brought our fur baby here when she was very sick and the doctor was wonderful. He called every couple of hours to keep us up to date on her health. A couple of days after her passing, we received a hand written card from the doctor who took care of her expressing his sympathy. They truly do care about our pets.

  Took this kitten to St. Francis veterinary center. He was roaming around and living in an RV park in San Antonio. Dr. Mike, Patty, Aubrey and the staff took very good care of him.
  They informed us of less expensive options to get tested and nurtured which is commendable. However we chose this center because of their honesty.
  We even asked about getting a chip for the kitty, again, Dr Mike told us where we could get it done for less. Good people here folks, they certainly will care for your pet as if it were their own!
