Staff and teachers are great! My son started at Westoverhills learning center when he was 18 months, and he has learned so much. He is so advanced for his age and give much credit to the school. He is now of age to go to regular school, but we will definitely be using their care services for the summertime.
We just moved states and I am so sad to have left WHLC. We were there for 5.5 years for my daughter and 3.5 with my son, and my newborn was to go as well until we found out about the move. I loved the schedules for the kids and the extra curricular activities that they did for all ages. Ms. Beverly and Ms. Daphne in the infant room are amazing, the young toddler teachers are so patient with the kids and the preschool and preK rooms were so great in preparing my little girl for Kinder. She is a young 5 and was more prepared than most of the kids older than her at her big school. I will miss the consistency, familiar faces and extra communication regarding my kids. I have recommended and will continue to recommend whlc to many of my coworkers and friends.
I have been taking my son there for over a year now and I absolutely love it. They keep him on a schedule and stick to it. I love that when they transition the kids they keep them all together so the kids are familiar with each other when they start new classrooms. I love that they do a lot of parent involvement. My favorite is the Bear Parade. Their breakfast and lunches are healthy for kids and gives them a variety of fruits and vegetables. They are always quick to call when my son isn’t feeling well and inform me he’s had a minor injury. I honestly believe that this is a great daycare for children.
