Julie B. Gowen, LCSW

Mrs Julie is a phenomenal individual. Through my Daughter’s time with her she didn’t change who my Daughter is, but rather encouraged typical childhood behavior as it once was, and this has also imprinted the change on me. A typical day in her office would be my Daughter going in with Mrs Julie for play time, while I would work on my laptop. It was until our latter sessions I realized (Had an epiphany) the issue wasn’t my Daughter. It was me. My constant work wasn’t conducive to being a proper parent and raising proper children. Since Mrs Julie we strive for limited technology in our home and in addition have added a combination of (non-screen) play time, and boundaries. I would recommend her a million times over for any parent struggling with how to appropriately parent a child in an insanely advancing technological world.

We love Julie! She has been amazing with both my kids. Could not recommend her enough.
