  My mother is the best mother ever she really took great care of my brother and I. Now that she is in her golden years we want a place for her that she can call her home, and given the fact she was born here she wanted to stay in San Antonio, until the end of her day. My brother and I are in the United States military and lived over seas. A friend recommended Starlight Homes, and after visiting other facilities, we decided that Starlight is the right choice. She is well taken care of by the nurturing staffs. They provide nutritious meals, activities of daily living, to keep her physical and mental health in tact. I recommend Starlight Homes to anyone who want a caring and loving environment for their mom and, or dad.

  I have been interning with Starlight since January, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. It has been so much fun to be able to get to know all the great residents. I've enjoyed being in an environment where the residents are always put first and treated with dignity and respect by all the workers. The assistant manager finds ways everyday to create fun times for the whole house and she is so organized (amazingly organized!). She knows the intricacies of each resident inside and out and doesn't hesitate to call the family or nurses if she feels she needs to. She's also such a great advocate for the residents when it comes to making sure doctor's appointments are made as soon as possible-she's so kind, but she'll definitely stand her ground if she knows it's for her residents. It really does feel like a home and the workers and residents are the family. I recommend them wholeheartedly!!

  Being separated from my grandmother was one of the hardest things I had to go through. When my sisters told me granny would be moving to an assisted house, I could not help but wonder if she would be OK without us all and be OK living with people she didn't know. I had many questions and doubts about the facility until I visited granny. When I arrived at starlight, I was greeted with such warmth and kindness. There is a family atmosphere and we were treated as if they have known us all our lives. I immediately fell in love with this place!! I felt even happier when I saw how happy my grandmother was when I visited her the following weekend. She was chatting with fellow residents and appeared to have adusted quite nicely. She told me she loved it, that the people were awesome. I would recommend this place to anyone!!!!

  It's so much that I want to say.about the quality of the services for Geriatrics. They provide for there Residence. .And why I give a 5 star. .Because. your Quality of services is incompatible. .one of the best ..keep up a good jop...And my God blessed ya...

  I have been here many times over the last few years. The owner is very involved, the manager and most of the staff have been there for many years. The home cooking is always enjoyed the owner often makes the food herself this includes Jamaican food which is flavorful and fresh. I have no problem to recommend this home if your looking for a smaller place for mom and dad!
