Great quick service from one day to the next even on a federal holiday. Went in thinking a thud when accelerating was my transmission. They let me know it was my motor mounts that were bad. Very honest and knowledgeable place.

I'm extremely happy to leave a very positive review for Selma Automotive & Transmission Repair. My vehicle needed 2 front struts. Normally I would let the dealership perform necessary repairs, but the dealerships cost was much more than I could afford. I shopped around and called a few mechanics and all were too pricey. When I called This shop and explained my circumstances, Walley, the manager searched to find the struts within my budget. It only took 2 business days for the parts to arrive. I set an appointment, took my vehicle in for the repair and it's running fine. I saved a few hundred dollars and the parts came with a two year warranty also. And because I work from home, Wally drove me home while they did the repair and picked me up when done. Granted, I live just a few miles from the shop, but I was happy for the shuttle offer because I didn't have to take too much time off.

I will use Selma Automotive for future mechanical repairs and highly recommend their services!

My son's car blew its transmission (so he was told) and the mechanics he was dealing with quoted $11K to repair it. Yikes! I searched the local businesses in SAT and called this repair shop because of all the positive reviews. Talked to Wally, explained the situation, and he said he'd tow the car in and look at it to determine what the. problem was. Long story short, it wasn't the transmission but a fuel pump issue, spent $1400 repairing it, and my son was back on the road in a little over a week (took four business days to get the part) which was amazing. We live in Idaho and Wally made dealing with this situation long distance extremely easy, he kept us in the loop on what they were doing and was as helpful and honest as they come. I am so blessed to have found this repair shop, which will now be my son's "go-to" for auto repairs in the future. If you're looking for an auto repair shop with honest, knowledgeable people that won't take you to the cleaners, look no further. Wally and his boys will treat you right!!!

I went in to have my brakes checked and the person that helped me was honest and straight forward he could have took advantage of me but he didn't the service was good there was nothing wrong with my brakes and he let me know and charge me the fee for checking. He also took the time to explain to me what might have happened with my brakes why I might think that my brakes are going out. And in my opinion that's an honest business.
