Dr cooke is awesome really cool obgyn
Dr. Cooke is the most caring and compassionate doctor. He has been my doctor for 10 years. He delivered my son and took great care of us throughout the pregnancy. I couldn't image ever going to another doctor.
I rate them high because they were the only office to actually listen to me and run the test. My similfied story is below:
A couple of years ago, I was with another Dr. in the area that had delivered me. That DR said " you are too fat, there is no way you could have children of your own" but ironically, I conceived on my first try. I continued to call my other DR, concerned because home tests were coming out faintly positive, and that I should come in. That DR then told me to take a pill and jump start my period. I was shocked, I was trying to conceive, not abort and they wouldn't even run any tests! No ultrasounds, no blood tests, not even a pee test. They just wrote me off as another fat lady knows nothing. So I went home with this medicine, crying the entire way because I knew I was pregnant, but without the DR confirmation, I couldn't prove it. Finally, my husband said ' if you are so concerned, get a 2nd opinion"
The next day, I called Dr. Cooke's office and spoke with a nurse there. She listened to me and said " Let's get you here to take a test. I will stay after and wait for you to get off work. No charge for today" Of course, I agreed. I got in, 2 minutes later I took a pee test and the nurse was shocked. That line was so dark, it would have been confused with the control line! 2 weeks later, I was scheduled for my first ultrasound. The day before my ultrasound, my tube ruptured and the fetus was removed. Had I gone to Dr. Cooke to begin with, this could have been avoided and caught before I had to lose my right fallopian tube. The following day, I called the nurse at Dr. Cooke's office with the news. Dr. Cooke didn't speak with me personally, but I will forever recommend everyone to this DR. The wait may be a bit long, but his staff made my opinion count.
