(November 14, 2017, 9:48 pm)My car lost its alternator just outside of West Columbia earlier yesterday. I was 2 hours away from home and I had no one to help me. Pulling into dairy queen I wondered what I would do, so I found a hotel and looked for mechanic shops. Ernie was the first to pop up on the list, so I checked his reviews, all of them 5 stars. I called promptly as they were closing soon and talked to Ernie, he said he was pretty booked but he would see what he could do for me in the morning. Let me tell you folks, Ernie has earned EVERY single 5 star review he has. He was polite, expert, and even though he could have had me over a barrel (as I had no way home) his prices were incredibly agreeable. This is a diamond in the rough shop in West Columbia.
