WOW - just wow. This place is something special. The food was a 10/10 and the owner Riley just makes this place over the top, he even came to the table and sat down with us. When we told him my fiancé starting smoking meat he came back with his own signature dry rub!!!

Seriously - A+!!

This menu dose not disappoint from the smoke chicken to the brisket dipped in home made mash potatoes they always have something that will hit the right spot oh man 10 buck turkey legs on Saturdays

Absolutely the best turkey I have ever eaten in my ENTIRE life. I had to get it two days in a row to prove to myself I wasn't overexagerrating. Juicy and tender, melts in your mouth isn't descriptive enough for just how it moist the meat was. And I had the ribs and the brisket, both were holding their own, but that bird is worth the drive alone. The ladies inside were very friendly and the price was about what you'd expect for food this good. I need to get out to Lockhart again soon.

Awesome spot, Riley is back in Lockhart in the original Chisholm trail BBQ space. Fantastic brisket (bark is perfect), the garlic link sausage is delicious and delicate, the spicy BBQ sauce is the best I've had.

Beans are great, potato salad is classic with mustard/mayo not German style. Coleslaw is cut bigger and more mayo-y than I prefer; Mac and cheese is solid BBQ house style with elbows.

Great service, cute little dining room, and very reasonable prices ($20/lb brisket $10/lb ssg)

Highly recommend if you're tired of the big (and also good) tourist traps in the downtown. I'll come back next I'm in town for certain!

Absolute BEST BBQ I have ever tasted! I ordered the smoked chicken family meal, along with Brisket. EVERYTHING was absolutely wonderful! The chicken was moist, tender, and OH so flavorful! The brisket was out of this world, and the beans, potato salad, and coleslaw were perfect! I drove 20 miles 1 way, and I will do it again and again. It is THAT good!
