  Amazing, most dental visits are miserable to ‘not bad.’ This was the first time a dentist visit was good…pleasant. Great staff…from receptionists, to the dental hygienists, to the dentist. Who would have thought a person could have a nice time at the dentist? Lonestar Family Dental-thank you!

  I would like to say thank you, for getting me into the office very quickly. The pain that I was in was over a 10. The dentist told me what it was, and was able to start the work the next day. He was very gentle and so was his assistant. I recommend Lone Star Dental. I have been to a lot of dentist but never had one this caring.

  I had a wonderful experience here! I felt very welcome and had great feedback from the doctor. Grechen, my hygienist, is the sweetest and did an excellent job with my cleaning. She was gentle and made sure I was comfortable. I highly recommend this practice!

  I had a terrible experience at the DDS office I had been going to for the past 4 yrs. Contacted a friend who suggested I see Dr. McElvain and his team. They were nothing but kind, compassionate and professional. Dr. McElvain didn't rush in and leave as the other DDS did, instead he really took time to review my history, examine my mouth and then give me his opinion. This is the best first visit I've ever had and I'd give him and the staff 10 stars if possible.

  We’ve lived in Allen for 26 years and just started going to Loan Star Family Dental a couple years ago. The front desk employees are nothing but kind and welcoming. Dr McElvain is awesome. He doesn’t try to push unnecessary treatments just for an extra $$ because there are a lot of dentists out there that do. I LOVE their dental hygienist Cara. She gives the best cleanings ever! She’s very thorough and gentle. She is amazing with my kids. I highly recommend her.
