I recently moved back to Miami and one of the best parts is being able to come back to IPT. I’ve had physical therapy at my other places and nothing compares to the expert care I’ve had with IPT. All the therapists are fantastic, (personally I worked with Brittany), the front desk staff is friendly, and the cleanliness of the facility is outstanding. During this pandemic I feel extremely safe coming to IPT because I can see how diligently they are maintaining the facility.
Everyone has different needs. I've used many PTs through the years, none helped much and some hurt. Met 2 of Martha's DFW patients at the EDS conference in Nashville. Her "weirdo" approach is unlike any they or I've had. But it takes a few appointments for it to make sense, for her to get to know your body, and one to see her true skills. Suffice it to say that the major dysautonomic malfunction that plagues all EDSers has improved such that I have a twinkling hope for a semblance of it becoming consistent. She can't magically strengthen ligaments, but she can find issues your prior PTs weren't patient enough to find.
IPT changed my life in the best way-- they gave me my health back! Cindy and her staff are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, and are there to support you in everyway. Great care was taken to explain to me the process of the treatments, in addition to the exercises and things I could be doing to aide in the process. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that "integrated" also meant my treatment included a range of techniques. This is perhaps what made the biggest difference in my healing and recovery. A year ago I was stuck in the belief that previous physicians repeated to me, that my condition was permanent and there would be no change. Cindy and her team dispelled this myth and helped me hit the reset button, so to speak. I am forever grateful, and highly recommend their services to anyone seeking to get well.
