I went there with my husband today and it is so nice!! I loved the environment and cleanliness! Hunter Sellers was awesome! He had a great personality, very well mannered and does an amazing job! His hair skills are very impressive! I very highly recommend you go see him!! Not to mention the styling chairs are very comfortable and really nice looking! If you haven't been there, you need to go!

I found Medallion Haircut & Shaves through Google search. I chose them because of their 4.9 rating. I also have a small business in Georgia and rely heavily on my reviews to gain new customers. Well I was not disappointed…. Bridget was very thorough and did a great job cutting my hair and shaping up my beard. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of there services. Ask for Bridget. You will not be disappointed.

This place was super chill and gave my 16 year old son a great cut. I’ve not found another place in the Allen/McKinney area with this quality for the price. My son has longer curly hair and they knew how to cut curls spot on.
He said it was exactly what he asked for.
It was a $50 cut + tip but WORTH IT if you know you’ll consistently get a solid cut and good service. We’ll be back to this place.

They had a young kid assigned to me & it was very clear that he did
not have enough experience, once the trimmer part was done & he had to start using scissors he had no clue what he was doing, I understand he was a young kid & did not said much to him but its on the owners not to have juniors assigned to job hair when you are charging premium price, he even asked for help in between but it didn't help him much I asked him to stop, paid & went to other shop for the rest of the cut
Horrible experience.

Update -> Changing my rating as Manager reached out to me the next day & provided the full refund, also offered provide discount on the next visit & mentioned that he will take necessary steps based on the review.

Update - I thought it only fair to update my review. The owner left me a voicemail apologizing about the 45 minute wait time. I haven't had the opportunity to return her call, but I feel she was very sincere. She obviously is concerned about customer satisfaction. Like I said before the shop is really nice and barbers are very good.

Easy to book an appointment online. You pick the time, date, barber and services. I added a shave and beard trim with James. I arrived 10 minutes early. The shop is really cool. Nice floors, open, with a pool table in the middle. They have bench seating in the waiting area that wasn't very comfortable. The staff greeted me and were very polite. They have about 10 barber chairs, but only two people working at 1:00 pm on a Thursday. My appointment was for 1:00, but I didn't get in the chair until 1:45. James apologized for the delay, he is very polite and professional. You could tell he wanted me to be satisfied with the beard trim and shave. He did a good job with both. Kind of pricey. It cost $96 with a 20% tip. I didn't have a lot that needed to be shaved because of my beard. They seem a bit unorganized it could be because the staff seemed to be new. Anyway, I won't be going back and will continue to look for a barber shop.
