  Steak and Shake is a great little place for burgers chili dogs fries and shakes. Decent prices. good service clean store friendly staff etc. It's one of my favorite stand bys.

  Love 2 to 5 happy hour drinks. This is the time to get the shakes. Fries are shoestring which I like because I don't really like fries. Burgers are all made to order. It's set up like an old fashioned diner. They serve pretty quickly. If you go to this one ask for Sarah she is a sweet waitress. She is patient and kind. Love her. Prices are reasonable.

  Best fries around! I love their thin cut fries, crispy and hot. I prefer a bit of salt on mine, and they had included 2 packets in the bag. I had the #2 burger combo. It is a thin patty, typical of S&S burgers. Good flavor. Had fresh lettuce and tomato on it. Fine if you want a lightweight burger, but not very filling. I would recommend going with the #1 double patty instead, (which would be equivalent to a single burger at most other places). All said, it was a good lunch, well prepared. I will be back, next time I'll remember to get a double burger.
