This visit was greatly gratifying. Place stands out. 1.5 miles worth of walking
Amazing cave. A lot of walking but we loved it! The lemonade was really good after the tour of the cave. It was warm inside the cave and i wasnt expecting that, wearing layers was a good idea.
Group traveled here to watch the bats leave the cave. Primitive camping sites available. Great guides. Easy trail to walk. Seating area in front of the cave. Binoculars help with viewing all the wildlife (birds, snakes, bats, creatures big & small). Port a potty available. Rocky paths...best in closed toe shoes (no flip flops recommended).
Absolutely spectacular. We visit caves on all our trips and this is one of the most beautiful I've seen. High ceilings and magical formations. It's really worth the drive. If you've never done caving (walk through) or adventure spelunking, try it. It's really an out of world experience.
