I was a student here when I was a toddler. I am now 29 years old. This school is absolutely exceptional. I have very fond memories of Mrs. Carlisle and Dr. Carlisle, and those memories I will forever cherish. I have received unconditional love, compassion, kindness, and encouragement here. My parents made the best decision by sending me to this school. I will forever be attached to the school and the people that helped me to become who I am today. If I didn't live so far away from this school, I would without a doubt send my toddler here as well. I recently went to see Mrs. Carlisle after more than two decades. She is still an outstanding teacher, and will always be. It was so nice to see her, reminisce with her, and revisit the memories I have in my heart and mind of the school. They still even have pictures of me posted around the school from when I was a child. I thank these two amazing people for everything they have done for me! I can never be able to repay them!

My life wouldn't be the same if I had not went to the Carlisle School; I use to live right across the street from the school. My dad would hold my hand and walk me across Lovers Lane to drop me off at school every morning. I learned Spanish, fine arts, classical/international music, self control (balance beam), and most importantly how to respect others at an extremely young age. Mr/Mrs. Carlisle are phenomenal educators and I thank them everyday for opening my mind and heart to things I wouldn't have seen on my own. God bless the Carlisle School!!!

This is hands down the most wonderful school in Dallas...a hidden gem! My son started attending the school when he was 2 years old and he is 4 years old now. We live in the Bluffview area and were referred by neighbors and friends. He has excelled beyond the norm for his age group and I am amazed at his communication, social, reading, and writing skills. The owners of the school, Dr. C and Mrs. Carlisle, are so loving, kind and caring. They are the most inspiring and attentive educators. They spend time with each child and focus on their individual needs. They let kids be kids and they make learning fun.

Mrs. Carlisle knows her children very well and applies this knowledge at every step of each child's progress through the school. Beyond their great teaching of essential skills, Mrs. Carlisle and Dr. C. give a richly diverse cultural education through music, poetry, and the visual arts--all taught in both English and Spanish.

There is no other school in Dallas like the Carlisle School. It is wonderful. I wish my son could stay at the school until he goes to college. I highly recommend this school!!!

It was a difficult decision to send my son to the Carlisle School because compared to the other two daycares that are just within 5min walking distance from both our home and workplace, I need to spend 1 extra hour on the road each day to drop off and pick up my son at the Carlisle School. I struggled for quite a while and finally made the decision because there are so many good reviews about the school. And it turned out this is the best decision that I have ever made.
We are still quite new to the Carlisle School. My son started about 2 months ago but I just can’t wait to post my own review about the school.
My son stayed home and had never been to any daycare before he first started in the Carlisle School at age 1.5. It was a difficult transition for him. Dr. C, Mrs. C, Ms. Maria and Ms. Dina embraced him with love and care. I was very touched and impressed that even children in the Carlisle School helped out to accommodate my son when he first started school. One little boy came to me and told me that he calmed my son down when he was crying. And when I dropped my son off one day and he started crying, I saw a little girl went up to him and tried to comfort him. Nothing compares to the photos Dr. C sent me from time to time. It’s just so much of a relief and joy to me seeing him eating well, exploring the playground, checking out new toys, surrounded by friends who care for him and painting with beautiful colors on an easel!!! Not just us, grandparents and friends were just amazed!!! Every week we bring back lovely crafts my son made in the school with the help of his teachers and on Spring Equinox and Mother’s day Dr. C and Mrs. C prepared very lovely gifts for the children.
Now my son comes home speaking his friends’ names, Dr. C, Mrs. C, Ms. Maria and Ms. Dina with a feeling of love and trust. He is happier, more confident, and even more well-behaved. I owe these wonderful changes to the Carlisles who provided my son with nurturing love and have lots and lots of wisdom in their teaching!

Dr & Mrs C and their staff demonstrate a love of learning and patience. Our three children attend Carlisle School and they are each kind, respectable children no doubt from the teachings of Dr, Mrs C and their staff. Almost every evening our children come home eager to share the days activities, from reciting poems, sharing paintings, singing about the continents and making life long friends. Mrs C's approach in the classroom is unparalleled. Each child receives the individual attention they require and at their own pace. Dr & Mrs C make themselves available for questions or concerns. They are always present before school opens and often one of the last to leave. The Carlisle school is very much an extended family and so are all the students and parents who attend. Look no further, you will be amazed by the care and curriculum here at The Carlisle School.
