Dr. James S. Kohn

As an ICU RN I have a hard time approving of a physician for myself, even harder would be to refer my mother to a surgeon. I chose Dr. Kohn because I have worked next to him for many years and he is always dependable and trustworthy. Dr. Kohn is a surgeon with a heart and his passion is contagious. In nursing school, we were taught to treat every patient as we would want our mothers to be treated. I can honestly say Dr. Kohn is treating every patient as they were his mother. Dr. Kohn does the right thing for his patients and for his staff. Thank You Dr. Kohn for taking care of my mother. Thank you for exemplary skill and continuity of patient care.

I have been an ICU RN in a hospital that Dr. Kohn has surgical privileges for several years. Dr. Kohn has always been one of favorite physicians for many reasons-
1. professionalism and knowledge of the procedures, he is willing to teach and always approachable
2. bedside manner-with the changes in healthcare over the last few years Dr. Kohn has remained strong and steady in bedside manner towards his patients and their family members.
3. technique precision- Dr. Kohn is always growing and changing with the fast pace of medicine.
