I received a call from Ms. House, a rep at RS Clark and Associates. She was very informative and helpful in setting up a payment at a time suitable for me. She was pleasant, and was genuinely interested in helping me resolve this issue to get it off my credit report. It is rare that I encounter a debt collector that makes me smile. Ms. House made me feel like I had accomplished something, instead of feeling judged.

I was helped by Ms. House who explained the process and assured the account would be deleted from all 3 credit bureaus within 30 days upon paying in full, as I did. She even went above and beyond to obtain my email to send me a receipt and inform me of what to do to obtain a removal letter to present to the lending officer for purchasing my future home. She also provided me with her email and personal extension if I had any further questions. I was pleasantly surprised by this company this afternoon. My husband and I are trying our best to clean up our credit and buy a house and I had an old bill that was paid to this company. My credit specialist advised me to call and ask if they would remove it and the lady I spoke to was very helpful and stated that they could do this for me. I had to ask another company the same and the response was not quite as favorable. I really appreciate the customer service of going out of the way to remove it when they really don't have to. It is much appreciated!!
