  Bakke is a Christian university which provides a theological solution to urban problems in a manner that is applicable in a religious, government, business and civil environment. It provides an academic approach to Christianity as it relates to God and His plans for the transformation of the world from suffering, wars, chaos and death to a state of perfect peace and gives each student the opportunity to become aware of his/her role in God's plan. The online classes are great and are complemented by the face to face City Immersion courses which allows the student to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to study a city in details and present God's solution which may include a combination of a spiritual, social, and economic approach. The experience is transformational.

  I finished the Doctor of Transformational Leadership degree program in cultural transformation. I have been an educator for 18 years, and have completed a couple of different degrees using modular and innovative programs, including Liberty University. This program has surpassed the others in content and quality, and I will be proud to say I am a BGU graduate.
  
  The DTL program was a perfect fit for me. It was clearly an intersection of business, theology and leadership- a great toolbox for me as a clinical marriage and family therapist who is also a business manger with a heart for ministry.

  I graduated from the BGU Doctor of Ministry program in 2012. The entire experience was life changing. I was fully equipped as a pastor and leader in my city. I highly recommend these courses to all of my friends because of how BGU emphasizes leadership in global, urban environments.

  Enrolling at BGU changed the course of my life. The classes I took and the professors that guided the learning helped me to look at life in new ways--still firmly Christian, but through new lenses. As a result of getting a doctorate at BGU, I now have my dream job, working internationally in leadership development.

  The personnel at Bakke were inviting from the start. I visited the office in Seattle while on a business trip and was surprised to find people that would stop, chat and answer questions. The DNA was Christ and people centered, with joy. I am now enrolled in the MAGUL (Master of Arts in Global and Urban Leadership) course and very satisfied. The course dovetails perfectly into my daily work context and has already enriched my work experience and hopefully those I work with.
