Beautiful store with many options for a sit-down meal. Grocery part is full of interesting inventory including a meat market, seafood and many goodies you won't likely find elsewhere. The food looks amazing although my diet eliminated my ability to indulge this trip. I've eaten at the location in Chicago and feel certain the food in Dallas will match the decadence served in Chicago. Eataly Dallas is a must for a field trip--do yourself a favor and go when you have lots of time to enjoy it.
Bruce was absolutely wonderful!! He walked around with me and picked perfect ingredients to take to my boyfriend's Jersey Italian parents a perfect Mother's Day lunch!! She said it was her best Mother's Day EVER!! THANK YOU Bruce!! YOU ARE A GEM!!!
From my boyfriend's mom: I really can't thank you guys enough for all you did (Starla...lol...) to make this such a super special day! ...I have to stop and really think about ALL the individual goodies we enjoyed today!!! It was all so much...and now I will sit and think about each and every item in that basket and how wonderful it all tasted! That pasta!!!!!!! That bread!!!! The olives and capers and specialty meats and cheeses...the mussels and clams and strawberries and honeys and pears and crackers...the basket and pretty towels and the plant and the card and the truly lovely portrait that just really touched me! And the whole experience of you guys cooking for me/with me! And sharing your time and working together in the kitchen to make some of the best food I have ever eaten!!!! Thank you all for making this a really special day!!!!!
You have to see this place to fully appreciate how unique it is. It’s gorgeous, spotless, has so many different departments and restaurants, perfect fruits and veggies, and incredibly friendly staff. Their kitchen gadget area is my favorite - tons of cute original and useful tools! I don’t know if I’d call Eataly a store or an experience, but either way I will be here often
We were able to snag a reservations to the restaurant on opening night! Though it was nearing closing time when we went, we had a great time. (& honestly preferred to go when it was *less* crowded) While we browsed the market, we were well attended to and when we had a question there was an employee near by to help! It was very much first night jitters at the restaurant but we were there for the experience. Everyone was help and gave great recommendations of the food. Try all the pasta and calamari! So great. Overall we had a wonderful experience and were so happy we were able to be there on opening day!! Welcome to Dallas!
Food at Terra is great! I had lamb, pork chops, and steak and all were delicious. The rabbit filled pasta was my favorite! And the grilled shrimp was good as well. I would definitely go back to Terra! I should also mention that their staff is very attentive and friendly.
