My mother was a resident at Bethesda Gardens for two years. The staff at Bethesda helped us with her journey in every way possible. The head nurse Katie advocated for her during her stay in regards to her many health issues and was always available. Having such great communication was key in keeping mom comfortable and well taken care of. Mom was in Bethesda during the pandemic and Bethesda did everything possible to accommodate the needs of the residents and their families. Being greeted by the same warm faces at the front desk always made my day. Hillary, Karlys, and Vikki were always a pleasure to see. Any needs such as maintenance or transportation were met quickly. As mom’s condition worsened it was a relief that Dragana the lead night med tech and floor med techs were checking on her and would call me with any concerns. Bethesda Gardens is assisted living but they went the extra mile in caring for mom and we were blessed that she was able to pass in her apartment at Bethesda with her family at her bedside. Hospice of the Valley was the greatest treasure and they were always there for her. It takes a village to raise a child and it takes a village to care for your aging loved one. My village was Katie and Joy, the ENTIRE staff at Bethesda, Nurse Jodi from Hospice of the Valley, Jenna the Hospice social worker, Kristi her case manager from Mercy Care, all or her med techs and of course my family. My village came to mom, not her to them, and they knew her well and they grieved for her along with us. We wish to thank all of you from the bottom or our hearts.

Dawn Rizzo was incredibly professional, kind, and very focused on helping us find aplace within Bethesda Gardens for my mother. She knew we were under a lot of stress at the time and her efficiency in getting back to us was on Point. I would also like to give a shout out to Joy the Head nurse. Thank you Both for your compassion and professionalism during a very difficult time for our family.

The wonderful staff at Bethesda Gardens has made a difficult time in our lives much, much better. They treat my Mom like gold and they are always on top of everything. They communicate with me often and keep me in the loop. I feel much better knowing she is in a loving and caring place. We consider ourselves very lucky to have found this place. It's also a beautiful place inside and out.

My mother lived in the memory care unit for 7 months before she passed. I spent a lot of time visiting her and had the chance to observe the staff several hours a week. I can not say enough kind things about how we were treated and the care my mother received. I was so impressed that they were proactive. One time a staff member found a class ring on the floor and called to see if it belonged to my mom. I always found my mother, and all the residents, well cared for and treated so respectfully. We were blessed to have found them.
