Great doctor. Unfortunately can’t say anything about how he does in delivery because I changed insurances around 30 weeks and they no longer accepted me but he was great in the meantime.
+ he is VBAC friendly!
We had an amazing experience with Dr. Payne. He is patient and caring and if you know what you want your birth to look like he will make it happen. Incredible man and I would personally recommend him to anyone.

Proud to go to such a knowledgeable doctor. I have been seeing him for almost 30 years, even when I lived out of state. I have had several female conditions and scares, Dr. Paul Payne is one of the best doctors I've ever met. As a patient, you need to always have your questions ready for ANY doctor to get the best care. As a responsible adult, I have also gotten recommendations for different health care providers that I have been very pleased with.
Very competent doctor, very busy man! I have been seeing Dr. Payne for almost 3 years. I absolutely love him, he is patient and I trust his judgement. He recently got a new medical assistant that I think is so wonderful, attentive and personable which has made my visits much more pleasant. Only downside is that he is really busy (which is a sign of a good doctor.) It does not mean he doesn't listen or doesn't make sure to devote his attention to your appointment fully, but it may mean getting rescheduled because of a surgery or delivery. It may possibly mean waiting at his office for a little longer than expected. I still feel he is incredibly competent and devoted to proper patient care. He is definitely the physician I want making clinical decisions that are best for both me and baby. I absolutely recommend him for those looking for a lasting physician/patient relationship with someone you trust.
