I knew Elaine some years ago when I was going through a divorce. She is a “Better Angel” in any life/soul that seeks shelter from a storm. The moment I met her, I knew I instinctively I was in the best place for healing. I received teaching that is beyond expectation. I received clarity and honesty. If you are looking for someone to tell you what you think you need to hear, Elaine is not your path. She has expectations and standards. She assists us in finding our own expectations. Her technique is honesty, integrity and pure love for those who seek her. I owe her so much. I applied all of the principles she taught me as I traveled through my journey into reality. I stumbled many times, but her spirit guided me. I evolved under Elaine’s tutelage. She guided me into being a educated, at peace, open and whole woman. Elaine Sullivan has a special gift, as a marriage counselor/therapist. My husband and I went to see her, literally, the 2nd month we were married because some BIG issues came up and we loved each other~ but did not know how to compromise or even begin to communicate about the issues that were our individual “huge” triggers. We continued to see her for four years.

She is a walking example of the work, she teaches. She and her husband, raised two boys and have been married since they were both around age 38. They have had a healthy marriage, for 35 years now. They have worked at it. She will be the first to tell you that both people must be 100% willing, to slowly, gently, try to see what makes you do and feel the things you do; you get to discover the ways you are contributing to not being happy in your marriage and how to slowly change them. No blame. Just awareness.

Second, Elaine did her early training with Harville Hendrix, who wrote, “How to Get Love you Want.”
In addition she has studied with John Gottman, well known therapist, author, founded The Gottman Marriage Institute.

When you meet Elaine, you immediately feel like you are talking to your favorite wise, kind, real, hip, aware....Aunt. Then, you find out she has these massive academic and professional credentials.
