Dr. Frank W. Theilen, MD

Dr. Thielen removed my entire thyroid due to Graves Disease on 5/13. I have had numerous follow-up appointments with my PCP, Ocuplastic surgeon and endocrinologist and they have all commented on how great my "scar" looks. Honestly you cannot even tell it is there until I point my chin upwards for people to see the scar. I did not have any complications during surgery and Dr. Thielen was so nice and answered all of my questions thoroughly (I had a lot of them). I would definitely recommend him for thyroid surgery.

I visited Dr. Theilen last year with some tonsil related issues. It was a really stressful time in my life as a medical device was causing inflammation all throughout my body (among other things), and I had just been a caretaker to a parent that passed away from cancer. Not only did he give some insightful, honest advice, but his bedside manner was beyond what I've experienced from every doctor I've ever seen combined. Despite the craziness surrounding the pandemic, he identified my issue without rushing me, gave me some realistic advice, and calmed my medical fears. I felt compelled to write this review because I recently visited a different ENT after moving to Virginia who was absolutely the opposite. Dr. Theilen is a great ENT, and a great human being.

Choosing Dr. Theilen was one of the best decisions in my life . He is kind and listens to your case until he comes up with the solution. Truly an experienced professional . I was suffering with tonsillitis for too long until he advised for a tonsillectomy that gave me my life back. The entire process was excellent, from his expertise to his kind staff and hospitality. I am truly blessed and grateful to have found him . Strongly recommend!!!

Dr.Theilen and his staff were awesome i went in with a really bad ear ache and left feeling relief! I strongly recomend him and his nurse practitioner i didnt get her name but she identified the problem with my ear in no time!

First time with Dr. Theilen. Just leaving the office and i am very, very happy with the services provided. He is very knowledgeable and i really felt secure with his explanations. Was in and out in less then 1hr and half. Nice and courteous staff. Loved talking with the vitals nurse 😁 Thank you for the care, it is much appreciated!!
