I recently completed my clinical rotation with Dr. Maya, at Pioneer Healthcare Clinic. Dr. Maya is an excellent preceptor and an example of an excellent care provider, provides high quality and affordable medical care to all her patients and maintains a good relationship with them before, during and after the consultation. I am very thankful for all her dedication and shared knowledge, which allowed me to gain experience for my future role as a nurse practitioner. Her clinic creates a foundation for students to learn to practice being a Family Nurse Practitioner, seeing a wide range of patients. Her key values (safety, excellence, integrity and respect) are demonstrated in every patient, every action and every time in her effort to deliver the best quality of care. Dr. Maya is my inspiration to become a great nurse practitioner and her support/education is unmeasurable. Highly recommend to any person who needs an excellent provider and preceptor.

Dr. Maya is great! She really shows compassion & true concern for her patients. She makes her patients feel very comfortable and does her absolute best to address the concerns we may have. She's definitely going to be my new PCP!

I literally love Dr. Maya!! Her aspect of health is so fascinating, that it has inspired me to follow a holistic approach to health and well-being. Always learning something great from her! Ever since I am in care with her I have noticed a drastic change in my health, as not just through lab works, but I physically and mentally feel rejuvenated. She loves what she does, and it really shows it in her service. I can’t say enough about her! Appreciate all she does for her patients.
