My husband and I had a great experience at this vet clinic! We had never been but this morning when I took my dog Lulu outside to go potty she cut her nose deeply on either our fence or a tree limb. Either way she was bleeding profusely and I was in a state of panic. When I located this vet as the closest to our house and called firstly the front desk girls were amazing, the girl I spoke to was quick to get my information, details on her injury and assured me they could look at her immediately. When we got there they took her back and cauterized the cut on her nose. After we paid we took her to the truck and her nose started bleeding again. They took her back again and not only did they stitch the wound as well, but kept her for observation for a few hours. We expected to have to pay again, but were advised there would be no additional charges. While we hope not to have an emergency again, we will absolutely be going back after seeing how well they care for not only their fur babies but their customers as well. Thank you so much for all that you did for us!
I was working with a rescue who has an account with AVH, so I went there for a health certificate for travel, one vaccination, and HW prevention. The staff was super friendly and I was in and out in just over 20 minutes with everything I needed. If they were closer to me, I’d use them for my non-foster dogs! Thanks to all the staff that helped get Cookie ready for her trip to her forever home!
Highly recommend! We have been to many vet clinics around the country and this one was clean, and efficient. They treated our horse well. They gave us a breakdown of costs and let us choose the treatment we wanted to pay for instead of blindsiding us with a huge bill. We felt comfortable with the treatment plan and will use them in the future but hopefully not too soon! We also watched them treat several other horses while we waited all were treated with care and attention.
I called on Saturday to try to get an appointment for Tuesday and was told they had an opening within a couple of hours if I wanted to come in. With my dog having a potential ear infection I jumped at the appointment. As always everyone in the office was great to work with. The vet explained what she was going to do and why. After the exam and testing she explained what she found what the treatment was and offered some advice on how to avoid this from happening in the future.
