very friendly staff, easy and fast.
I've had more than my share of MRIs over the years but the procedure I had today at Northstar was by far the best. The staff was very courteous and explained everything to put my mind at ease. Most of the equipment used for this is rather loud, but they gave me ear plugs and some padded headphones to listen to my favorite music. I was so comfortable, I actually fell asleep for part of it. If I ever need more of these procedures, I will definitely go back to Northstar Diagnostic Imaging.
My exam was on time in fact it began a little early. I was very concerned with the MRI because I have shortness of breath. I do not recall the tech's name but I feel she could have been a little more tactful. She was giving me instructions on how to lie on the table (I had two mris) and seemed a little impatient. Then after the first one (MRI) , I needed to go to the bathroom and when I came out I asked for a little water. She said, "you didn't bring your water?" Most all of the health care workers I have encountered, could not be more accomodating and am accustomed to receiving the warm and fuzzys. But not today. I was informed if I could not tolerate their machine, they had another facility down the street. Perhaps, if I need another MRI, I will go to your other facility.
