The location is a bit run down, but Mr. Booze makes up for it by being friendly and helpful. He pays cash for metal to recycle. He will take most appliances(call to make sure).
But most of all anything Mr. Booze takes does not end up in the landfill and that is a good thing.
This place may not look like much from the outside but Mark the owner will definitely treat you right. He carries a wide variety of used appliances and offers a guarantee on everything he sells. They also buy aluminum cans and scrap metal.
Great place to get clean and inexpensive used appliances (mostly washers/ dryers, stoves and refrigerators). They don't haggle but the prices are fair, delivery is cheap (if it's local) and they make sure that everything's fitted, plugged in and running nice before they go. They'll even carry out the old appliances! Highly recommended.
The owner was honest and straight forward. Not much of a negotiator but his prices are fair for a good product. His appliances are reconditioned. The fridge I bought was clean and began working well from the moment it was plugged in when delivered.
