I don't give it one more star is that the food could be improved. It is not bad but could be much better. -

(November 7, 2019, 11:40 pm)I am in love with this place. We moved our mom to Prairie Estates in early July. I was a little concerned with the ratings I saw but had to try it since it is so close to my home. Well. I can honestly say they have blown me away. The staff really does genuinely care for the patients. They have addressed all of my concerns and my mom loves the staff. They take the time to get to know your loved one and the family. I look forward to my visits because it feels like I'm visiting family and friends. We have a strong team taking care of my mother. We don't have one weak link.
My mom was admitted with severe medical issues. The doctors frankly didn't give her much time to live. I am Thanking God and Prairie Estates. My mom is improving daily and has overcome many of her medical issues. She had several wounds that required lots of wound care expertise and TLC. The wound care specialist was amazing and the nursing assistants are phenomenal.
All of the staff have been very professional and ready to assist. We do have more issues to overcome but I feel like we have the right team of people to really make it happen. Don't take my word for it; try it for yourself. You won't regret it! -

(August 26, 2019, 9:33 pm)Both of my parents are here. My mom has been here over a year and my dad 6 months, they are two rooms apart. Everyone has been great and are very attentive to my parents. I’m up there 2-3 times a week visiting them and the nurses in their wing are awesome. They keep me updated on what’s going on with my parents , call me when they have questions or see a change in either of them.. The staff is also very responsive. This is the 4th home my mom has been in and is the best one. So glad they are here together.
