The heart of this church is larger than the building; you will call them your “family”. Children, starting from the youngest to 5th grade, will learn God made the world and He loves you. They will be introduced and taught salvation through Jesus Christ. The youth is amazing as they actively start their Christian walk and demonstrate their faith. Adults will find comfortable community groups for Sunday mornings. Each Sunday morning’s service you leave with a feeling of restoration. Wednesday nights feed your hunger for deeper study of God’s word.

FBC The Colony has helped us to learn God's Word and how to apply it. We have grown as a family spiritually and learned importance of sharing the Gospel with others and serving others in our community. We have developed true friends with similar beliefs. Home groups are also important in developing accountability and spiritual growth. Our children have learned the true meaning of being a Christian and enjoy youth group, mission trips, youth camp, and retreats. The youth at church have become some of their best friends and it is great that they are such a good influence on each other. Our family has learned so much about God's Word from attending FBC The Colony.

I have been a member here for more than 10 years. First Baptist Church is not a perfect church, but there many warm and caring people who will walk with you through life. We exist to build believers who reach others for Christ.
