Te'Jun The Texas Cajun- Red Oak

This is a nice place for family gathering or friends. I love that they have seating Outdoors by the water with a nice view of duck pond and also a drive-through that provides really fast service. It's not a fancy dining hall I wouldn't say this is the spot for hot dates but it is good reasonably priced Cajun seafood options. I do wish they would do delivery through one of the delivery apps though as I've tried to order for delivery before and there's no options for that.

Their weekday specials are the definition of special. For example, Tuesdays, you can get a large combo basket (fish, shrimp, fries and hush puppies) for the price of a small combo basket. The level of seasoning is supreme. I would encourage you to taste before automatically adding salt. The best catfish I have had anywhere. The hush puppies and other items are delicious too. There was enough food for my wife and I to share one basket and have leftovers. Every item was hot and fresh. (Note: We couldn't wait, so we ate some before I took the picture.)
Last year, we came here on our last night in town. This year we came on our first night in town, allowing for making this an option for another meal while we are here.

Absolutely the best seafood we've had since we were at the Gulf a few years back. Highly recommend everything on the menu. No we didn't try it all.

The peeled combo and the boiled shrimp with the shells was my favorite but then again the crawfish appetizer was fantastic and of course the beignets was fabulous. The 4 of us loved it all!

We came here with some extended family after a school basketball game. It was Saturday around 12:30 when we arrived. This place is huge with tons of indoor and outdoor seating. The entire place was clean and spotless! The service was great and everyone was ready and willing to help with any questions. Now the reason we came… the food! The food was amazing! Crab was nicely seasoned, didn’t stick to the shell, and was moist. The boiled shrimp had a great flavor, garlic, seasoning, and a bit of spice. Potato and corn were cooked to perfection as well. Then for it all, that butter sauce to dip everything in! That stuff was liquid heaven! We will definitely visit this place again if in the area.

First time here. Atmosphere was nice. Lots of tables and clean. We tried the Blacken Fish topped with Etouffee. A side of gator. We also had the crab claws with boiled egg, corn and potato. Everything was really good, but way to salty. Someone was really heavy handed with the seasonings. We will be back to give it another try and try something different.
