(October 19, 2018, 9:53 am)Ok, so I have been looking for a preschool developmental center for a while, and I just couldn’t find the right place. I was looking for an experienced center (nobody wants to experience the growing pains of a starting center), but I also did not want an old, outdated environment. And to top of the list – I am not a fan of heavily franchised centers – when touring those I always felt like a number that just needs to be added to the bottom line to ensure profits of the corporation. I was looking for a family owned, new location.
TADAA! This is their second location, and the childhood center in Katy will be opening within 2 weeks. BRAND NEW, experienced management team and family owned to boot! I toured the facility, and had the opportunity to speak to Ann Marie, the owner who took all the time to answer any questions I had. And they had answers for all my concerns.
I really feel my patience has paid off. Gorgeous interior, brand new, state of the art equipment and an experienced staff. No software issues to be expected, etc, etc. Just what momma ordered. -

(October 15, 2018, 2:42 pm)Just toured this new facility, and I am so impressed. We have been looking around for quite some time, and this will be the daycare center that I trust my children to.
I was skeptical at first about a curriculum for babies and toddlers. You know, they are just babies, right? But then I did more research, and I guess it is the same as talking to your baby while it is in the belly. You know they don’t know English yet, but you also know it is good for them. So that is why I decided to go with a higher-end daycare – because you want your baby to get the best start there is.
We toured many of the “Big Name” daycares in the neighborhood, and this facility is so much better. More customer focused, cleaner, just a happier atmosphere. Not like a corporation is running the daycare – you gotta love family owned. You can feel in every design detail that this was setup and run by a mom, you know what I mean?
What I like most is that it is brand new. But not a brand new company – they have run the RiverOaks center for 7 or eight years now. Just to be sure I toured that center as well, and of course, same atmosphere I was looking for. Finally found a winner!
