(February 22, 2018, 2:07 pm)I’ve been diabetic for 15 years, and no one helped me lower my A1C better than Dr Ashaye. When we met 2 years ago, my A1C was 8. Now it’s 6.8! This doctor sits down and actually plans your health options with you. She’s never made me feel like she was in a massive rush. That’s what genuinely ill people need from a provider.
I’ve noticed a couple of feedbacks of the doctor here that I humbly disagree with. One reviewer feels he was overcharged for a visit. This doctor works for Houston Methodist, and therefore has nothing to do with charges or billing. That concern should be redirected to The Houston Methodist’s billing department. 3 reviewers appear to be the same individual, or close friends. I believe the doctor is on the right track being cautious about writing prescriptions for addictive and abused drugs. I see why someone can feel frustrated that this new doctor is reluctant to prescribe him/her opioid-containing drugs even though they just met. But pleasing people to get better ratings shouldn’t be any provider’s primary objective. After treating my entire family for 2 years, we realize that Dr Ashaye is all about doing the right thing.
